Nullhaven / field notes
Prototype attenuation findings, by frequency band.
A plain-language record of the RF attenuation figures currently published for the Nullhaven prototype. The values below stay tied to their frequency bands and current prototype status.

What is currently listed.
Every value is shown with its band, unit, context, and prototype qualification.
| Band | Frequency range | Measured attenuation | Measurement context | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cellular 4G/5G | 700 MHz–3.8 GHz | 38–24 dB | Tower and device downlink | Prototype / typical figure |
| Wi-Fi | 2.4 / 5 GHz | 24–20 dB | Router, hotspots, and mesh | Prototype / typical figure |
| Bluetooth | 2.4 GHz | ~22 dB | Wearables and peripherals | Prototype / typical figure |
| GPS / GNSS | 1.1–1.6 GHz | ~26 dB | Location services | Prototype / typical figure |

Method
How to read the figures.
- Attenuation is a change in RF signal level expressed in decibels (dB), measured against a defined frequency or band. A dB figure is not a universal percentage of signal blocked, so these values should not be converted into one.
- This page records the band/value pairs currently present in Nullhaven prototype product and FAQ copy. The approved test apparatus, sample count, calibration method, geometry, and averaging procedure have not been supplied in the current repository and are therefore not inferred here.
- The measurement-context labels describe the signal categories represented by the existing prototype notes. They do not establish performance for every device, orientation, enclosure, installation, or surrounding radio environment.
Boundaries
What the findings do not establish.
- These are prototype-level, typical figures rather than a guarantee for every production unit. Final material construction, seams, openings, fit, wear, and manufacturing variation can change attenuation.
- The listed bands do not represent all radio frequencies or all transmission conditions. Performance outside the listed ranges is unmeasured here.
- A band range or approximate value is not a substitute for a complete, independently reviewable test report. Direct source details and an approved publication date remain to be confirmed.
Sources
Evidence, listed precisely.
Direct report title and exact HTTPS source URL to be confirmed before these findings are treated as final evidence.
No competitor comparison URL is used as evidence for Nullhaven measurements. The direct measurement report and exact HTTPS citation are still to be confirmed.
Shielding performance is not a health claim.
Measured attenuation describes a physical or material result under defined test conditions. It is not evidence of disease prevention, treatment, improved health, or medical safety. Nullhaven does not make those claims from these figures.
